I have been a practitioner of Native American spirituality and shamanism for several decades starting with meeting and studying with Cherokee teacher, Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo in the early 90s. But even before then, as a child, I always loved and found solace, healing and peace in nature. I collected feathers and stones. I loved the Animal People. I was also very tuned into the luminous energy of Spirit within, through and around all things. It was in the arms of Mother Earth where I found it.

Since then, I have studied with a number of Native American teachers, as well as practiced Vipassana Buddhist. I was first initiated 18 years ago into the mesa tradition in the Four Winds Society that is central to the spiritual wisdom of the Q'ero medicine people, ancestors of the ancient Inca in Peru. I have continued my studies with other teachers in this lineage.

But now they are. As human consciousness continues to expand & as the pressing needs in this time of transition & chaos demand, more is being offered and coming through. More people are being called to step up to their heart's calling to shamanism or to deepen their practice. More of us are being called to expand out of a solely personal practice into service to others.

I am passionate about supporting newcomers to advanced practitioners so that we can collectively continue to expand the vibrational frequencies of peace, light & love on the planet.

I believe what I bring to shamanic practice is unique compared to other teachers due to how I also integrate my study of western psychotherapeutic traditions and my academic research and teaching on violence, trauma, healing and peacemaking.

There is profound wisdom and depth of feeling to be found as we expand our consciousness with sacred songs, ceremonies of light, meditation, shamanic journeying, and inner work.
